Tinubu Reshuffles Cabinet, Appoints New Finance Minister

On April 23, 2026, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu executed a minor reshuffle of his cabinet, leading to the exit of two ministers: Wale Edun and Ahmad Musa Dangiwa. Edun, who served as the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, is replaced by Taiwo Oyeleke, a former Minister of State.

Ahmad Musa Dangiwa, previously the Minister of State for Housing, has also left the cabinet, with Muttaqha Rabe Darma, PhD, nominated to take his place.
