ASUU Declares Two-Week Strike, Shuts Down Universities Over Grievances

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has announced a two-week total and comprehensive warning strike across public universities in Nigeria. The strike was declared during the National Executive Council meeting held in Abuja by ASUU President Prof.

The union had given the government three weeks to address its grievances. Lecturers are mobilizing to join the strike, demanding the government to address their concerns.
