Bala Protests in Abuja, Urges Mark's ADC Faction to Leave

On Thursday, Nafiu Bala, the national chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), led a protest in Abuja, warning David Mark and his faction to leave the party. The demonstration featured prominent opposition leaders, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

Bala accused Mark and his faction of attempting to control the ADC. The protest saw participation from House of Representatives member Leke Abejide and supporters who carried placards with various messages, including "Woe to political marauders." This protest appeared to counter an earlier rally held by David Mark's faction at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The event highlighted the ongoing tensions within the ADC as different factions vie for control and influence within the party.
