Court Issues Arrest Warrant for Fake Agency Boss Adeyemi

On Tuesday, a Federal High Court in Abuja, presided over by Justice Moham Umar, issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Adeniyi Adeyemi after he failed to appear for his scheduled arraignment. Adeyemi faces eight counts of charges, including conspiracy, forgery, and impersonation related to the alleged establishment of a fraudulent organization known as the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC).

The prosecution argued that Adeyemi, along with two accomplices, produced forged official documents to mislead the public and create the impression of a legitimate federal agency. The court dismissed Adeyemi's defense, which cited safety concerns and a fear for his life, stating it could ensure his safety during the legal process.

The case has been adjourned until September 30, with law enforcement authorities expected to execute the arrest warrant and bring Adeyemi to court for the proceedings.
