Ex-Minister Nnaji and Adeyemi Face Forgery Charges

Uche Nnaji, the former Minister of Science and Technology, and Princ Adeniyi Adeyemi, the director general of the non-existent Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), are scheduled for arraignment at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday, December 1, 2025. They face charges related to forgery and impersonation as part of an investigation by the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC).

The charges stem from allegations involving a forged degree certificate from the University of Nigeria and a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate. The case, marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025, includes eight counts against Adeyemi and two others.

The prosecution is led by Wisdom Madaki, and the case has drawn attention following a directive from President Bola Tinubu for Nnaji to resign due to his alleged involvement in the forgery.
