Court-Ordered Medical Panel Declares Nnamdi Kanu Fit Amid Terrorism Trial

A court-ordered medical panel has deemed Nnamdi Kanu fit to face his ongoing terrorism trial, following concerns about his health. The Nigerian Medical Association conducted a thorough examination and submitted a report stating that Kanu's ailment is not life-threatening.

The trial, presided over by Justice Jame Omotosho, is set to resume on October 23. President General Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide and Senator Azuta Mbata have called for Kanu's release, while also mentioning President Bola Tinubu.

The prosecution, led by Adegboyega Awomolo SAN, referenced the NMA's report during proceedings.
