Court Halts David Mark and Aregbesola as ADC Officials

The Federal High Court in Abuja has issued an order restraining INEC from recognizing David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola as the interim national chairman and secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). This order followed a motion filed by Nafiu, dated September 2, 2025.

The court also restrained INEC from recognizing Ralph Nwosu as the former national chairman of the party. The interim injunction aims to prevent Mark and Aregbesola from parading themselves as ADC officials pending further legal proceedings.

This development comes ahead of the 2027 elections, impacting the leadership structure of the opposition party.
