Court Rejects Nnamdi Kanu's Transfer Request for Medical Treatment in Abuja

The Federal High Court in Abuja rejected Nnamdi Kanu's request to be transferred to a hospital in Abuja for medical treatment. The court dismissed the application filed by Kanu's legal team, arguing that the Department of State Services (DSS) could adequately manage his health condition.

Kanu's lead counsel, Onyechi Ikpeazu SAN, highlighted his deteriorating health and the need for advanced medical intervention. However, the DSS counsel, Asiwaju Adegboyega Awomolo SAN, opposed the transfer, stating that the agency's medical team could handle Kanu's condition.
