EFCC Seals Off Malami's Abuja Residence Amid Investigation

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has initiated actions to take over the Abuja residence of former Attorney General Abubakar Malami. On Tuesday, operatives, led by Folarin Dare, arrived at the property located at No 2 Koranakh Close off Amazon Street in Maitama with five buses and were clad in signature red and black jackets.

The area was heavily barricaded, and access to the property was attempted but ultimately unsuccessful. The sealing off of the area is believed to be linked to ongoing investigations into alleged financial improprieties associated with Malami.

This development highlights the EFCC's continued efforts to address corruption and financial misconduct within Nigeria.
