BREAKING: FG Names Federal Hospitals Where Dialysis Costs N12,000 (FULL LIST)

The Federal Government has released a list of Federal Tertiary Health Institutions where kidney patients can access dialysis at a subsidized rate of N12,000 per session. The scheme is part of President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda to ease the financial burden on vulnerable Nigerians battling kidney disease.

The pilot phase is currently operational in 11 Federal Tertiary Health Institutions across the country, with plans to expand to cover all Federal hospitals in due course. The program aims to ensure that no Nigerian is left behind in accessing dialysis services.

Since its inception in January 2025, 897 patients have already benefited from the subsidy. The initiative comes at a crucial time as kidney failure cases in Nigeria are on the rise, with many patients struggling to afford treatment.

The subsidy is seen as a lifeline for many Nigerians, offering hope to those who would otherwise be unable to afford dialysis.
