Fubara Backs Tinubu, Wike's Coalition for 2027 Elections

On Tuesday, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara publicly declared his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Rainbow Coalition, a political movement led by Nyesom Wike, in anticipation of the 2027 general elections. This announcement occurred during the groundbreaking ceremony for the Riven Medical Facility, a public-private pharmaceutical manufacturing project in Rivers State.

Fubara urged his supporters to unite behind candidates from the Rainbow Coalition, asserting that the political crisis in the state had ended. He expressed his commitment to reconciliation, peace, and development, stating that his administration would not engage in activities that could create further political divisions.

Fubara also reaffirmed his administration's dedication to the Riven Medical Facility, which is expected to be completed within three months, promoting industrialization and healthcare delivery in the state.
