Gunmen Abduct APC Chairman’s Wife, Daughter in Kwara - Security Concerns Rise

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted the wife and daughter of Alhaji Muhammad Swasun, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sakpefu community, Patigi Local Government Area, Kwara State. The attack took place on a Sunday night, with the assailants firing sporadically to scare residents before abducting Hajiya Fatima and her daughter, Amina.

This incident adds to the growing concerns of insecurity in Kwara State, particularly in rural areas like Patigi, which have witnessed recurring cases of abductions. Residents are calling on the government and security agencies to enhance protection in the region.
