JAMB Sets 2026 University Admission Cut-Off Mark at 150

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced that the cut-off mark for university admissions for the 2026/27 academic session in Nigeria will be retained at 150. This decision was made during a policy meeting held on Monday in Abuja, where the Vice Chancellors of various universities were present.

The heads of tertiary institutions in Nigeria unanimously agreed on the minimum admission score for universities to be 150, while colleges of nursing will also have a cut-off of 150, and polytechnics will have a minimum of 100. This announcement is significant as it sets the benchmark for prospective students seeking admission into higher education institutions across the country.
