JAMB to Set UTME Cut-off Marks on May 11, 2023

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is set to convene on May 11 to decide the cut-off marks for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for the 2026/2027 academic session. This critical meeting will take place at the Bencher Auditorium, Plot 688, Institute Research District, FCC Phase III, Jabi, Abuja.

According to JAMB's spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the gathering will include significant stakeholders from Nigeria's tertiary education sector, such as vice chancellors, rectors, provosts, registrars, and admissions officers, along with regulatory bodies like the National Universities Commission, National Commission for Colleges of Education, and the National Board for Technical Education. The meeting aims to set the tone for the upcoming admissions exercise and ensure adherence to strict guidelines.

Additionally, the event will feature the 6th edition of the National Tertiary Admissions Performance Merit Award, which seeks to promote compliance with admission guidelines and improve educational standards across the country.
