Kwankwaso's Son Resigns as Kano Commissioner Amid Political Turmoil

Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, the son of former Kano Governor Kwankwaso, has resigned as the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Kano State. His resignation comes amidst internal crises and legal issues within Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf's administration.

Mustapha's decision was confirmed by Imran Muhammad, a senior special assistant in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). Mustapha's resignation follows his father's criticism of Governor Yusuf, accusing him of betrayal.

Governor Yusuf, however, maintains that Mustapha's departure is not personal but rather a strategic alignment with the APC led by Bola Tinubu. Mustapha's resignation is seen as a significant political move within Kano State politics.
