Salimon Olad Elected New NUPENG President in Lagos

Salimon Olad has emerged as the new president of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG). His election took place on Friday during the union's 6th quadrennial delegate conference held in Lagos.

Olad, a former national trustee of NUPENG, was elected to lead the union, succeeding the previous administration. Alongside him, Akin Oladejo, who previously served as the chairman of the oil and gas suppliers branch, was elected as the deputy president.

This leadership change is expected to influence the union's direction and policies in the oil and gas sector in Nigeria.
