Police Intercept Suspected Explosive Devices Bound for Southwest in Oyo

The Oyo State Police Command confirmed the interception of suspected explosive devices in Saki, Oyo State, bound for the Southwest region. The discovery was made during a routine stop and search operation at Saki West Local Government Area.

The truck driver transporting the suspected devices was immediately arrested, and the materials were secured. The Police Command, under CP Femi Haruna, has initiated a comprehensive investigation into the matter, involving specialized units for explosives and chemical analysis.
