Trump Sues Media for $15B Defamation | NY Times Lawsuit

President Donald Trump has filed a $15 billion defamation lawsuit against media organizations, including The New York Times and Penguin Random House. The lawsuit, lodged in a Florida court, alleges reputational and financial damage caused by articles declaring him unfit for office and a book titled "Lucky Loser: How Donald Trump Squandered His Father's Fortune." Trump's legal team argues that the publications have inflicted massive economic harm on his brand, citing a decline in Trump Media Technology Group stock as an example.

Both The New York Times and Penguin Random House are yet to respond to the lawsuit. This legal action follows Trump's warning last week of potential legal measures against The New York Times.
