President Tinubu to Visit Plateau Amid Jos Killings

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will visit Plateau State to address the recent killings in Jos, as disclosed by his media aide, Bayo Onanuga, in a statement issued on Wednesday. The visit is scheduled for Good Friday, following a recent gun attack that has raised concerns among civilians.

Originally, President Tinubu had planned to flag off operations at the Gateway International Cargo Airport in Iperu, Ogun State, but he postponed this trip to prioritize the situation in Plateau. Following the Plateau visit, Tinubu is scheduled to travel to Ogun State on April 4 to commission the Gateway International Cargo Airport and will return to Abuja afterward.

This visit underscores the administration's focus on addressing security issues in the region.
