PSC Screens 30 Senior Police Officers for Promotion in Abuja - Full List Revealed

The Police Service Commission (PSC) in Abuja screened 30 senior police officers for promotion, including one Assistant Inspector General of Police, two Commissioners of Police, 11 Deputy Commissioners, and 16 Assistant Commissioners. The promotion exercise, held at the Solomon Arase Conference Hall, featured a rigorous process to ensure officers meet global standards of skill and competence.

PSC spokesperson Ikechukwu Ani confirmed the development, emphasizing the need for officers to align with modern policing requirements. The Chairman of the commission, retired DIG Hashimu Argungu, highlighted the importance of competence in the Nigeria Police Force and the consequences of repeated exam failures.
