Tanzanian Police Release Nigerian Singer Kizz Daniel After Concert Refusal

Tanzanian police released Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel shortly after detaining him for his refusal to perform at a concert in Tanzania. The Nigerian Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) revealed the incident on Monday via Twitter.

Kizz Daniel, also known as Oluwatobiloba Daniel, was held at the Oyster Bay police station in Dar es Salaam. He failed to show up for a paid performance, leading to his arrest.

The singer was seen in a viral video being led into a police vehicle. His legal team will provide further updates to the police.

Kizz Daniel is expected to return to Nigeria soon.
