BREAKING: Tinubu Appoints Boards of NCC, USPF (FULL LIST)

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed the boards of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and the Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF) to operate under the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy. The announcement was made by the President's Special Adviser on Information Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Tuesday.

Dr. Aminu Wada will retain his role as the Executive Vice Executive Officer of NCC, with Idris Olorunnimbe named as the Chairman.

The NCC board includes notable members such as Abraham Oshidami, Rimini Makama, and Hajia Maryam. The USPF board will be chaired by Dr.

Bosun Tijani, with Idris Olorunimbe as the Vice Chairman. The appointment of these boards aims to drive the attainment of national policy objectives for universal access to ICT services in Nigeria's rural and underserved communities.
