Tinubu Retains Shettima as Running Mate for 2027

Bola Tinubu has officially retained Kashim Shettima as his running mate for the upcoming 2027 presidential election, as confirmed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday. The party expressed confidence in Tinubu and Shettima's ability to secure re-election.

The formal submission of their nomination forms to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is set to occur before the deadline on Saturday. The event was attended by APC national chairman Prof.

Nentaw Yilwatda and other notable members, including Ibrahim Masari, who is Tinubu's special adviser on political matters. Hope Uzodimma, the governor of Imo State, reaffirmed his support for Tinubu and urged party members to unite behind the APC candidates.
