Tinubu Swears In Taiwo Oyedele as Finance Minister

On Monday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu officiated the swearing-in ceremony of Taiwo Oyedele as the Minister of State for Finance at the State House in Abuja. This formal inauguration followed Oyedele's successful screening and confirmation by the Senate the previous Wednesday.

Oyedele, recognized as a prominent tax expert, articulated his vision for a robust and transparent fiscal framework for the nation. He previously led the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reform, and in his new role, he is mandated to drive the administration's economic agenda.

Taiwo Oyedele replaces Dori Uzoka, who has been redeployed to the Ministry of Budget and National Planning.
