Oyedel, born on June 18, 1975, in Ikar Akoko, Ondo State, has a robust educational background, including a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Yaba College of Technology and degrees from Oxford Brookes University, the London School of Economics, Yale University, and Harvard Kennedy School. His career spans over 22 years in various leadership roles in the private and public sectors, including his recent position as Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reform under President Bola Tinubu.

Oyedel is also a member of several professional organizations, including the Nigerian Taxation Standard Board and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Nigeria, and has been instrumental in shaping Nigeria's fiscal policies.
