UK Charity Commission Freezes Assets of MFM Ministries Over Financial Mismanagement

The UK Charity Commission has frozen the assets of MFM Ministries, an international church led by Dr. Daniel Olukoya, following findings of financial mismanagement and governance lapses in its UK operations.

The Commission discovered serious concerns regarding the church's fund management, including lack of oversight in over 100 bank accounts run independently by local branches. This action aims to prevent further mismanagement and protect the charity's remaining assets.

This is not the first time the Charity Commission has intervened in MFM's affairs, as similar issues were noted in 2019.
