BREAKING: Villages Deserted as Terrorists Launch Series of Attacks in Zamfara

Villagers in Zamfara State have abandoned their homes after a series of coordinated terrorist attacks over the past 48 hours. The attacks began in the Yan Uku community in Garbadu Ward, Talata Mafara Local Government Area, before spreading to neighboring settlements like Farin Dutse.

Witnesses reported that the attackers abducted people and looted valuables without facing any resistance. One victim, Muhammadu Lakada, was abducted on Tuesday night while returning from the market, marking the second time he has been kidnapped this year.

Residents revealed that many villagers had already fled their homes after receiving warnings about the presence of bandits in the area. Despite the growing violence, residents have expressed concern over the minimal security presence in the region, even after the latest attack on Wednesday evening.
