Bandits Abduct 40 Worshippers in Zamfara Mosque Attack

In Zamfara State, armed bandits attacked a mosque in Gidan Turbe village, abducting at least 40 Muslim worshippers during early morning prayers. The incident occurred despite ongoing peace deals in the region, signaling a breakdown in security.

Troops from Operation Fansan Yamman conducted operations across Zamfara, Katsina, and Kebbi States, thwarting terrorist attacks and recovering items. During a patrol near Kuka village, two soldiers were injured and evacuated for treatment.
