Bridge Leadership Foundation Celebrates 15 Years of Impact

The Bridge Leadership Foundation marked its 15th anniversary on a Saturday at the University of Calabar's International Conference Centre. Governor Bassey Otu commended the foundation's founder, former Governor Liyel Imoke, for transforming the lives of over 200,000 young people through leadership development and mentorship programs.

The anniversary's theme was "Power of Purpose: Persisting Youth Lead Change for the Next 15 Years." Otu emphasized that true leadership is built on vision, character, discipline, integrity, and service. He urged Nigerian youth to embrace resilience, financial discipline, digital literacy, and lifelong learning.

Imoke, who established the foundation in 2011, noted its significant achievements, including training programs that have transformed thousands of lives. Alumni shared testimonies of how the foundation helped them in their careers.

The event featured a keynote address by media entrepreneur Chude Jideonwo, who encouraged youth to rethink traditional career paths in light of digital advancements.
