Brighton Coach Optimistic About Femi Azeez's Injury Recovery

Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Fabian Hurzeler expressed hope that Femi Azeez will be fit to make his debut against Coventry City on Sunday. Azeez, who joined Brighton from Championship side Millwall on transfer deadline day, is currently dealing with a minor injury that has postponed his first appearance for the Seagulls.

Hurzeler stated, “Femi is obviously carrying a slight injury at the moment,” and mentioned that they will have to wait until the weekend to see if he can participate in the match against Frank Lampard’s Coventry side. Azeez had a successful Championship season last year, earning a spot in the PFA Championship Team of the Season.

Hurzeler praised Azeez's versatility, work rate, and scoring ability, noting that he can score with both feet and has strong decision-making skills in the final third. The coach emphasized the importance of integrating new players quickly to form a strong team.
