Atiku Abubakar Congratulates Amaechi on 61st Birthday

On Wednesday, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar congratulated former Minister of Transport Rotimi Amaechi on his 61st birthday, referring to him as a "brother" and "fellow patriot." Atiku commended Amaechi for his years of service to River State and Nigeria, wishing him good health and strength for impactful service. Concurrently, Amaechi, who is a presidential aspirant for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), rejected the outcomes of the party's presidential primary held on Tuesday.

He described the results as "concocted" and claimed that the process was marred by widespread voter disenfranchisement, asserting that 80% of party members were denied the opportunity to vote. Amaechi stated that he would not accept results that do not reflect the values of the ADC, which he pledged to uphold.

Following his rejection, fellow aspirant Moham Hayatu Deen announced his decision to boycott the final collation ceremony in Abuja, citing similar concerns over irregularities.
