BSN Donates N14.4 Million Worth of Bibles in Nigeria

The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) has made a significant donation of Bibles valued at N14.4 million. This includes 8,268 copies of the New Testament, which are intended for various beneficiaries, and a complete set of Braille Bibles, comprising 37 volumes, valued at N5.3 million.

The donation was announced by Benjamin Mordi, who emphasized that the initiative aligns with BSN's mission to make the Holy Bible available in preferred languages and formats to engage people with the word of God. The organization also distributed free Bibles to diverse groups, including prison inmates, church members, Christian fellowships, theological schools, and individuals with visual impairments.

The complete set of Braille Bibles costs N70,000 and is part of BSN's ongoing efforts to break barriers and ensure access to the scriptures. BSN is a non-profit interdenominational Christian organization that translates the full Bible into 27 Nigerian languages, with ongoing revisions in several others.
