Mu'azu Jaji Sambo, the ex-Minister of Transport during President Buhari's tenure, has affirmed his commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and denied any plans to leave the party. Serving as the Taraba State Coordinator for Bola Tinubu and Shettima's 2023 presidential campaign, Sambo's Senior Special Assistant, Sam Idiagbonya, emphasized Sambo's political loyalty and track record.

Sambo believes Taraba State will play a significant role in Tinubu's economic agenda, particularly in agriculture. He urges residents to support the government's efforts for a better Taraba.
