BUK Lecturer Professor Nura Ibrahim Passes Away

Professor Nura Ibrahim, a lecturer at Bayero University Kano (BUK), died early on Monday due to a brief illness. He had experienced health issues starting Friday and was subsequently hospitalized for treatment.

Although he initially felt better and resumed normal activities, his condition deteriorated unexpectedly, leading to his death. The university community expressed shock and sorrow at the loss of a dedicated academic who significantly contributed to the growth of his department and the development of students.

Professor Ibrahim was buried in his hometown of Makarfi, Kaduna State, on Monday morning according to Islamic rites. He is survived by two wives and children, leaving behind a legacy in the academic field.
