Eintracht Frankfurt Signs Raphael Onyedika Until 2031

Eintracht Frankfurt has signed Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika from Belgian champions Club Brugge, with the contract lasting until June 2031. The announcement was made via the club's X handle on Sunday.

Sporting director Markus Krösche stated that Onyedika's qualities, including his robustness, strategic understanding, and exceptional consistency, make him an ideal fit for the Bundesliga side. Krösche noted that Onyedika has been a regular starter for several years and has won multiple titles in Belgium.

Additionally, he emphasized Onyedika's valuable international experience and potential for further development at the age of 25. Onyedika's successful tenure at Club Brugge included winning two Belgian league titles, the Belgian Cup, and the Belgian Super Cup.

Prior to his time in Belgium, he also won the Danish Cup with FC Midtjylland. This transfer represents a significant advancement in Onyedika's career as he prepares for his inaugural season in the Bundesliga.
