Onyeka Shines in Frankfurt's Historic 11-0 DFB-Pokal Win

Frank Onyedika played a pivotal role in Eintracht Frankfurt's historic 11-0 victory against SC St. Tönis during the first round of the DFB-Pokal on Friday, marking the largest win in the club's history in the tournament. Onyedika, a Super Eagles midfielder, received a 9.1 rating on SofaScore for his performance, where he played the full 90 minutes.

Although he did not score, his contributions were vital in shielding the back line and facilitating ball movement, allowing teammates like Jonathan Burkardt and Can Uzun to excel. Burkardt scored three goals and assisted two, while Uzun netted twice and provided three assists, both achieving perfect ratings.

Frankfurt established a commanding lead early, scoring ten goals by halftime, a record for the competition. Farès Chaïbi added the final goal in the 87th minute.

Onyedika joined Frankfurt from Club Brugge earlier in the month on a contract until 2031, bringing with him significant experience from his time in Belgium.
