Al-Ittihad Competes with Frankfurt for Onyedika Transfer

Al-Ittihad, a club in the Saudi Arabia Professional League, has entered the competition with Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt to sign Raphael Onyedika, a midfielder currently with Club Brugge. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Al-Ittihad has resubmitted an official bid for Onyedika.

Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt has reached an agreement on personal terms with the player but saw their first bid rejected by Club Brugge. The Belgian Pro League champions are reportedly asking for approximately €10 million for the 25-year-old defensive midfielder.

Onyedika, who has one year remaining on his contract with Club Brugge, has declined an offer to extend his contract. He joined Club Brugge from Danish club FC Midtylland in 2022.
