Atiku's Camp Accuses Bwala of False Narrative Attempt

Atiku Abubakar's camp has publicly criticized Daniel Bwala, a spokesperson for President Bola Tinubu, for allegedly seeking to fabricate a false narrative against the Tinubu administration. Frank Shaibu, who serves as Atiku's senior special assistant for public communication, described Bwala's recent political behavior as opportunistic and a form of political theater.

Shaibu revealed that Bwala had previously approached Atiku's media team with a request to manufacture a false narrative against the current administration, which they declined, labeling it as frivolous. The criticism intensified following Bwala's interview with Al Jazeera journalist Mehdi Hassan, where Atiku's camp argued that Bwala's comments exposed a moral bankruptcy and trivialized significant national issues, particularly the loss of thousands of Nigerian lives due to insecurity over the past two years.

Shaibu emphasized the inconsistency in Bwala's statements and his struggle to reconcile his shifting loyalties.
