Bye-election: ADC claims victory against APC in Kaduna polls

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) claimed victory in three state National Assembly seats in the bye-election against the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State. The ADC Vanguard, the party's coalition mobilization wing, announced the win in a statement following the polls held in Federal Constituency Zaria, Kewaye State Constituency, and Basawa State Constituency.

While the official results from the state electoral commission are yet to be released, the ADC Vanguard declared that the ADC Coalition dominated Kaduna State by securing two out of three constituencies. The APC chieftain, Ayekooto Akindele, criticized former Governor Nasir El-Rufai, claiming that the emerging results showed a rejection by the people of Kaduna.

Leader of the UBA SANI party also commented on the election outcome.
