CAF to Announce WAFCON 2026 Details in 48 Hours

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is set to make an announcement concerning the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) within the next 48 hours, as reported by Daily Post. Morocco is scheduled to host the tournament later this month, with speculation surrounding the potential postponement of the WAFCON 2026 final.

CAF's communications director, Luxolo Septamb, indicated that the governing body of soccer is giving the situation surrounding WAFCON urgent high-level attention. The tournament is planned to run from March 17 to April 3, 2026.

Notably, the semifinalists of this tournament will advance to the next year's FIFA Women's World Cup, which will take place in Brazil.
