PDP Secretariat Tensions Rise as Factions Clash Over Reopening

The complex had been closed for months until a recent court ruling favored Anyanwu's faction, prompting its reopening.

The Abdulrahman Moham-led PDP caretaker committee had resumed operations based on the court ruling, leading to conflicting claims of control. The factional disputes have deepened the crisis within the PDP, with members split across multiple camps ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The Kabiru Turaki-led faction rejected the reopening plans, aligning with Wike's bloc. Security measures were heightened around the complex to prevent any confrontations.
