Adeleke Projected to Win Osun Governorship Election

The Imol Campaign Council has released a survey suggesting that Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke is likely to be re-elected in the upcoming August 15 governorship poll, with a reported 72% public support. Kola Olabisi, co-chairman of the media and print arm of the Adeleke campaign, stated that the survey was conducted by independent voter behavior analysts and reflects the current political mood in Osun State.

In contrast, the APC, represented by Bola Oyebamiji, dismissed the survey as a politically motivated assessment, claiming that the APC will secure victory regardless of the survey's findings. The APC's statement, signed by spokesperson Pelumi Olajengbesi, accused the Imol Campaign Council of misleading the public and asserted that the APC remains committed to a peaceful campaign.

The APC also expressed concerns over the alleged desperation and reckless conduct of its opponents, emphasizing their readiness to contest the election without distraction.
