Thanksgiving Service Held for Freed Principal in Ogbomoso

The Christian Association of Nigeria, Ogbomoso branch, organized a thanksgiving service for the safe return of a kidnapped principal from Community High School, Ahoru, Oriire Local Government Area. The service took place at the Ok Elerin Baptist Church in Ogbomoso and was attended by relatives of the victim, including her husband, Professor Wole Alamu, a lecturer at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH).

The congregation praised God for the victim's safe return after being held captive for 56 days. Rev.

Dr. Segun Oyelowo delivered a sermon emphasizing gratitude for the victim's safety and the concerted efforts of federal and state security agencies, as well as local vigilantes.

The family expressed deep appreciation for the support received from Nigerians at home and abroad, acknowledging the prayers and financial assistance that contributed to the safe rescue. The event highlighted the community's resilience and faith during a prolonged period of anxiety.
