Carragher: Manchester United Won't Win EPL or Champions League
Jamie Carragher, a Liverpool legend, expressed his belief that Manchester United will not secure the Premier League or Champions League titles in the 2026/2027 season. During The Overlap Fan Debate, Carragher criticized the club's current managerial situation, stating that Michael Carrick, who has recently signed a long-term deal as the permanent manager after taking over on an interim basis following the dismissal of Ruben Amorim in January, lacks the necessary "stardust" to lead the team to victory in these prestigious competitions.
Carragher acknowledged that while Carrick could potentially have a good season, he does not possess the qualities required to win a Champions League or Premier League title. He suggested that Carrick might be able to position Manchester United favorably to attract a more accomplished manager in the future.
