Cattle rustlers kill 3 villagers in Kaduna

Three villagers were killed by cattle rustlers in Kaduna when assailants invaded a residence to steal two cows and several sheep. The incident took place around 9 pm, and the victims were identified as Alhaji Sagir Hassan Muhammad and two others.

The community leader, who requested anonymity, stated that the community had been relatively peaceful following a local peace deal, but the Sunday killing shattered the calm. The attackers fled with the stolen livestock, and the victims were pronounced dead on the spot or at the Shika Teaching Hospital.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mansir Hassan, stated that he would confirm the details of the incident. Residents expressed shock and concern over the incident, which disrupted the peace in the area.
