CBN Donates FM 200 Fire Suppression System to Kwara

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) donated an FM 200 fire suppression system to the Kwara State Command of the Federal Fire Service to strengthen emergency response capabilities and protect critical infrastructure in the state. This donation was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the command's public relations officer, Modibbo Ibrahim.

The gesture aims to deepen collaboration among key public institutions to enhance public safety. During the formal handover, which took place at the state control of the Federal Fire Service, the CBN Kwara State branch was represented by a delegation led by branch manager Aliyu Muham Manga.

He described the donation as a clear demonstration of the bank's commitment to supporting the operational effectiveness of the fire service. The FM 200 fire suppression system utilizes clean agent technology to extinguish fires rapidly without damaging sensitive equipment, making it particularly suitable for high-value, technology-driven environments.

This initiative is expected to significantly enhance the operational capacity of the fire response agency.
