CCYF Denies Dunamis Church Link to Asaba Aircraft Incident

The Concern Christian Youth Forum (CCYF) issued a statement on December 6, 2026, categorically denying reports that linked Dunamis International Gospel Centre to an aircraft incident in Asaba. The CCYF described the claims as completely false, baseless, and malicious, asserting that Dunamis Church does not own a private jet.

The forum emphasized that despite having the capacity to acquire aircraft for gospel outreach, they do not currently possess any. They warned that spreading false information could lead to legal penalties under Nigerian law, specifically citing the Cybercrime Act of 2015 and the Criminal Code Act.

The CCYF urged media outlets and individuals to verify information from official sources to avoid legal consequences and stated that they reserve the right to pursue legal remedies against those disseminating false information intended to harm the church's reputation. The statement was signed by James Paul Adama, the convenor of the CCYF in Abuja, Nigeria.
