CDS Lauds Nigerian Youths' Commitment at Lagos Basketball Tourney

The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Major General Henry Tafida, commended the commitment and passion displayed by Nigerian youths at the Unity basketball tournament in Lagos. The event, held at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, showcased the dedication and enthusiasm of the players.

Major General Tafida highlighted the transformative impact of Nigerian youth in shaping the nation positively, especially in sports. He emphasized the need for continued support for initiatives like the basketball competition to harness the energy and talent of the youth.

Former Deputy Commandant of NAFRC, Major General Martins Obiora Enendu, also praised the tournament for nurturing the character of young people and providing a platform for their growth and development.
