CHAN: 8 countries eliminated from competition

Eight countries have been eliminated from the ongoing CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN). The latest country to exit the competition is Mauritania, joining Guinea, Niger, Zambia, Angola, Nigeria, Central African Republic, and Burkina Faso.

Madagascar and Burkina Faso's match outcome resulted in Tanzania finishing on top of Group B with 10 points from four games. Madagascar secured the second position with 7 points, edging out Mauritania on goal difference.

The eliminated countries finished behind Tanzania and Madagascar in the group standings. The CHAN tournament continues with the remaining teams vying for the title.
