Chelsea Sells Tyrique George to Everton for £24 Million

Chelsea has finalized a £24 million transfer deal to sell 20-year-old winger Tyrique George to Everton, marking a significant step in their squad rebuilding efforts ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. The agreement consists of an initial fee of £18 million, with an additional £6 million in performance-related add-ons.

Chelsea will also receive a 15% sell-on fee for George. The player has previously impressed during a loan spell at Everton, where he made one start in the Premier League and appeared as a frequent substitute.

This transfer represents the second major departure from Stamford Bridge this summer, following the sale of Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid. Chelsea is also facing interest in Trevoh Chalobah from Premier League rivals, while they hope to retain Enzo Fernandez despite Real Madrid's earlier interest.

George aims to establish himself as a regular starter for Everton in the upcoming season.
